Testimonials
“…tenacious problem-solvers, clear and concise communicators, and a joy to work with…Impeccable and highly-detailed quality assurance reports bowled me over with their precision and accuracy, and have become my new standard by which to judge all others. Their warm and pleasant nature made working through mountains of product bugs a much more enjoyable task than it normally is. Their understanding and intuitions on design and markets, along with a willingness to share opinions on the product, proved especially valuable, far beyond my expectations. I will certainly seek The Ant Firm’s assistance on projects in the future, and can’t recommend enough that others do the same.” – Eric Emery, Senior Designer at HitGrab Inc
“Hayley and her group were a great help in finalizing our game (The Line). Not only finding issues, but offering excellent suggestions. I recommend them to anyone looking to supplement their QA process.” – Matt Orlich, Founder/CEO, Ant Hive Games
“Hayley has provided my company with a very professional approach in testing our software for bugs and other inconsistencies. All issues found were recorded and described in great detail. This made it easy to address the issues within the software. As a bonus, we were impressed that solutions to the problems were also provided. All work was done in a very timely manner. Hayley (and the Ant Firm) is highly recommended by us. I was really impressed by the organization and thoroughness of testing done on my app. I’ll be using The Ant Firm every time. It’s a great deal off my mind to know that I can get QA done externally – with such precision.”
– D. Noel Keshwar, Founder- Pure Digital Magic (R)
“I worked as a programmer for a gaming studio where Hayley, Denise, and Melanie headed up the QA department. All of the bug reports I received from them were clearly written, and if further explanation was ever needed, they were always more than happy to oblige, even going so far as to demonstrate the bug while I watched. In addition, Hayley did a fantastic job of filtering out duplicate bug reports from an external firm, ensuring that only the most relevant bugs were being worked on at any given moment. Their hard work helped many projects to be completed on time, sometimes against incredible odds.”
- Jeff Taylor, video game programmer, Taylored Games
“I worked for Electronic Arts Canada for 15 years as a software engineer. I’ve dealt with QA departments all over the world including the massive QA departments at EA and Nintendo. While working for a game company in London, Ontario I had the pleasure of working with the excellent QA department there. When I first joined the company, the QA department was in somewhat of a shambles, but soon after Hayley Patterson was hired things quickly turned around. Hayley introduced professional testing procedures, hired quality testers, and re-organized the department. The company was working on several games at the time and things were very stressful on the development side. I was impressed with Hayley’s cool temperament under pressure: she was always calm and professional. I witnessed first-hand the quality of work that her department produced, the end result being bug-free games. I enjoyed working with Hayley and found her fun to be around: she had an excellent relationship with her team members, making for a productive work environment.
Melanie Lagrou is a tester of the highest caliber and game playing skill. On several occasions I remarked, “Who managed to find that bug?”, and, more often than not, the answer was “Melanie”.
I also had the pleasure of working closely with Tonya Constant. Tonya always produced high-quality data and text files. She also coordinated with many external writers and always had the correct files well-organized and up-to -date when I needed them. I really enjoyed working with Tonya: we had a great working relationship.
I would absolutely recommend this excellent QA team to any company in need of QA services.”
